Además de eso, acaba de ser secuestrada por dos raritos que aseguran que es la heredera del Rey Kronos y que está destinada a gobernar otro planeta. Y su abuela y su hermano menor, las únicas dos personas que amaba de verdad y la amaban de verdad, están muertas. I can't wait to read the next book in the series and what more is the author going to do with everything that happened.įast-paced, short chapters, tons of action, strong female character, great side characters, interesting plot, great sexual tension, steamy scenes and a very interesting love triangle.Ī few things happening way too fast, the main character trusting another character that no one else trusts and ignoring a few red flags. This is how we get into a story of adventure, training, really good fights, knowledge, death and betrayal, and it's truly amazing. And that she is half alien.Īt first, Elisse doesn't believe a single thing, but she likes this kidnapper, Nathanial, way too much, and she thinks getting close to him wouldn't hurt, and the other kidnapper is also really nice and reminds him of her little brother, so, why don't give it a shot? I mean, Nathanial has already killed her adoptive mother and she has nothing more on earth. On top of that, she just got kidnapped by two weirdos that assure that she is King Kronos's heir and that she is meant to rule another planet. And her grandmother and little brother, the only two people she genuinely loved and that loved here, were dead. So, we got Elisse, she's our protagonist and life has been very unfair with her, she had an abusive mother, abusive stepfathers that enjoyed to hit her or abuse her.
I think that says enough for how rough this book is. This book was truly amazing, it's kind of a Zeus's retelling but darker than the original myth.
